Today

Today Rometti works with famous designers such as the aforementioned Monica Pioggia, and the well-known designer Ambrogio Pozzi, who had previously designed kitchen accessories that earned the Umbertide company the '77 Critics Prize at the MACEF Milan. Collaboration with British artist Liliane Lijn has led to the production of vases and sculptures inspired by the dynamism of kinetic art.

Rometti’s fame and prestige have led to prestigious partnerships with the Chamber of Deputies, the National Library of Florence, the Central State Archives, Eurochocolate and Umbria Jazz. Among the major international brands that have commissioned products from the manufacturer are Rosenthal for the "service" on board Alitalia aircraft, and Guzzini for the "Pomona" series, as well as Armani, Pierre Cardin, BMW and Cooper. The important role that Rometti plays in the cultural landscape of Umbria has prompted the City of Umbertide, in January 2011, to fund the factory’s local museum with the purchase of 160 historical items, to give the general public an opportunity to appreciate this fundamental heritage in Italian ceramic art.
